Cosmetic Fillings, White Crowns and Bridges
Cosmetic fillings are great for repairing teeth effectively and for a lower price, to prevent damage, before they need crowning or veneering. Cosmetic fillings can cover up minor faults like chips or gaps effectively. This gives your tooth additional longevity, whilst blending in seamlessly with the rest of your tooth so it is not visible in day to day activities.
A crown, also known as a ‘cap’, fits over the remainder of your tooth (after the dentist has prepared it and trimmed it to fit a cap), to restore teeth that have been cracked or weakened by decay or a large filling. As opposed to normal crowns, we also offer white crowns that blend in better with existing teeth, and are composed of porcelain. These crowns possess the advantage of being just as strong as standard crowns, but blending in with your tooth, as to preserve its natural look.
Porcelain bridges can also be made as to cover larger gaps which are composed of multiple teeth, but are not severe enough for dentures.
Bridges are crucial for covering gaps, as gaps can put excessive strain on remaining teeth, causing them to slip into the space and become misplaced. A bridge helps keep the surrounding teeth in their correct position, and restores your correct bite, all while being cosmetically matched so they do not look out of place.
